Having the best server list means nothing if your ports are blocked. eMule requires open ports to achieve "High ID" (fast downloads).
Inside eMule, go to and paste the following URLs into the "Update Server.met from URL" field. These are maintained by the community:

Manually typing IP addresses is tedious. You can configure eMule to update its server list automatically every time it starts up by using a verified server.met file. Step-by-Step Server.met Configuration Open your eMule client. Go to the menu on the top toolbar. Select the Server tab from the left sidebar. Check the box that says "Update server list when startup" . Click the List button next to it. A notepad file will open.
