Sanjay is a carefree bachelor living in Mumbai with his flatmate Ria. His world is turned upside down when his childhood best friend, Anjali, calls to announce her upcoming wedding to Rohit, a handsome NRI doctor. Spurred by Ria's realization that he is actually in love with Anjali, Sanjay travels to Dehradun with a "mission" to sabotage the wedding and win her heart.
Following his debut in Mohabbatein , Chopra stepped into the lead role as the flawed, impulsive, yet endearing protagonist. His portrayal of Sanjay relied heavily on physical comedy and relatable, everyday vulnerability.
Adding to the chaos is Sanjay's sharp-tongued flatmate, (Bipasha Basu), who sees right through his schemes and provides the audience with comedic relief and wise advice. As the wedding festivities begin, the ultimate question arises: Is Sanjay selfish, or is he truly fighting for love? And will Anjali choose the perfect groom or the friend who was always by her side? The climax of the film is a beautiful lesson in understanding the true meaning of love and friendship.
